Period 6: Entry #6
A talk show host asks your main character the following question: "What fears or worries keep you up at night? What was the lowest point of your life?" How would your main character answer this question? Be specific using specific reasons from your text.
"The fears and worries that keep me up at night is that my girlfriend, Violet, is going to die soon. We both were hacked by an old man. I recovered with my other friends, but Violet has not. She keeps shutting down, going into seizures, and some parts of her body become paralysed. Her feed isn't completely working and functioning as it should. The corporations (FeedTech) who are responsible for the feed deny help to Violet due to her strange profile and resistance to the feed. The lowest point of my life is when I go into "mal", which is when I purposely malfunction my feed so I can become unaware of my emotions and surroundings". Mal is like a state of being drunk and being under the influence without the alcohol.
ReplyDeleteHe wouldn't show much emotion when talking about this because he is the kind of guy who is an easy-going person and doesn't express much emotion physically. He would act in a laid back mood and would be unperturbed. He is feeling sad and depressed on the inside, but doesn't really show it on the outside. An example is, when Violet sends him records of her memories (hours worth) via feed, this implicitly or implies that she is going to die soon, so, she wants Titus to know her better, and keep her memories for her. Titus deletes them all, and goes to bed staring at the ceiling, not sleeping. He goes into a silent, frozen state. I infer this is how he deals with all his emotions. I predict that the lowest point of his life is when Violet dies, because he might love her and not know it.
My main character would answer the questions by saying that the questions that you are asking are to personal to me and I will tell you why.The reason I will not answer the questions because there is a murder cause of someone i know and i have to help solve it.Thats all my character would say oh yea and this no more futher questions.
ReplyDeleteWhat the main charater might say to "what keeps you up at night" is the worry that Mr.Greenburg might die because he is the only other person left on earth and she dooes not want to be alone agian. She would say that what the lowest point in her life is when all of her family went out to look for anyone who was still living and never came back.
