Period 3: Entry 3

Entry #3
1. You board a train and discover you have the choice of sitting next to the main character or another character in the book. With whom would you choose to talk? Why? What would you like to ask the character? What would you tell him or her? (Remember, you do not need to choose the most admirable character.)

  1. If i was to ride on a train with any character from Absolutly Normal CHAOS (my book) would have to be Mary Lou shes the main character. I would most definitly want to sit next to her because the things she writes about are so intresting to read and just so good they just pull you in and you don't know what to expect. I would love to hear her express herself about her family, friends, school and ideas. I would ask her what grade are you in? Do you hve lots of friends, play sports, perticipate in clubs or any school activities? Then i would probably tell her about my family and my school and about how i participate in sports an tell her what type of person I am. In her writing she is very unique in a way of trying new things like when she says "i,m going to try some dialouge here". She seams like the adventurous type of girl just like me i think we would get along very well. The main reason I pick this character was because she seams the most like me in a good way shes a trouble maker to brothers and is a good sister though she has a great friend, likes shcool, and likes swimming just like me!

  2. If i could sit next to a character on a train, and have a chat, it would most likely be Gilan. I choose him because, in the story, it doesnt give too much info on his back story. I would ask him things like,"Why did you want to be a ranger?" and "What was it like training with Halt?". Questions like these can help me better understand Gilan in the story.Along with this, i would tell him some things like "Being a ranger sounds pretty cool, is it?" and "It must've been pretty scary seeing all of those deserted towns in Celtica." Overall, it would be pretty cool to talk with Gilan.

  3. If i boarded a train with the characters in my story i would sit with Baron. He was a the character that i had a lot in common with.I would like to ask about his native american heritage and what his ancestors have taught him.I would like to tell him about how i like bears (ursus in scientific words) the same as he does.

  5. The character i would choose to sit next to is Katniss. This is because she is very defiant and believes in equality between the districts. A question I would ask her is: What was it like to be the mockingjay? Another is: how close are you to Prim?
But one thing I would most want from Katniss is some pointers in archery. I'm ok in it but i just can't get the targets very well so i'd like to know some hints.

  6. If i was on a train i would sit next to Harris because he has a lot of stories that are exiting and he is fun with adventure in his mind, i would ask him "why is he so interested on finding out the missing mystery of Nathaniel Olmsted". I would tell him about how we are similar a little bit, he and i are adventurous and ecstatic as an example.

  7. The person who I would like to sit next to would be Harry because, I would want to know was it hard to battle Voldamort, also I would ask him how does it feel to hold that much power to defeat Voldamort. I would tell him that I like watching him go through all these troubles and end up winning all of his hard long gruelling battles against the dark magic.
