Period 5: Journal Entry 1

2.  After reading for 20 minutes are you still content with your choice?  Why or why not?

    I chose TWILIGHT because I watched the movies but I would really like to read the bookes. The picture on the front cover really got my eye as well 'caues I dont know why they chose just a hand with a apple.

    The thing that screamed was that the book had a cool picture thst reslly looked cool to me.
    Another thing that screamed read me was that the person who wrote this book I really like them because I have read lots of his books.One reason I picked this book the picture looked really cool because it almost looked so real to me.

    after 20 minutes i am content with my choice by that as soon as i read the first few parts of the story i started to like it and get in to it.
    another thing is that i like the way the author said every thing and used good words to make me hooked in the story

    1)What made this book "Travel Team" by Mike Lupica scream read me was that it was a sports book and I love sports. Also, it was a basketball book, one of my favorite sports. The author who wrote the book has written another book I have read and enjoyed called "Million Dollar Throw". I could tell by the description on the back,the author,and the cover I was going to enjoy this book.

    2)After reading my book for 20 minutes I was content with my choice because it never bored me and kept me wondering what was going to happen next. Also, it had a lot of exciting and interesting parts. So far what I've read has been good and I'm looking forward to reading some more of it.

      1)The thing that screamed out to me about Darkness Before Dawn is a drama and it can also be related to alot of people.The book jaket summary of this story is a girl that loses her boyfriend in a tragic death.The author is Sharon M.Draper.
