Period 2: Entry #4

As you read tonight, identify at least 2 direct or indirect characteristics of a character in your book.  Set up your response in the following way:

1. Name of Character
2. Type of characterization
3. Quote that shows characterization
4. Word that you can use to describe your character
5. Rationale for chosing this quote

Ex.
1.  Laurie
2. Character's Actions
3. "filled his wagon with mud and pulled it through the kitchen"
4. troublesome
5. When Laurie pulled his wagon through the kitchen with mud, he is showing that he is a defiant young boy who causes a lot of trouble.  He should know better than to be walking through his mom's nice clean kitchen with mud. Laurie goes against the commonly known rule of no mud in the kitchen just to be a bad little boy.

1 comment:

  1. 1.Tyrone Boone
    2.Characters speech
3."I guess you caught me" Boone said without a hint of remorse. Also missing the southern drawl. Now he no longer sounded like the Boone I knew
    4.Unscrupulous
5.Boone was lying the whole time so the kids wouldn't know he was a spy so they wouldn't get into trouble

    1.Angela Tucker
    2.Other characters reaction to character
3."Angela was a straight A student" I thought "Mom said I shouldn't ruin her grade point average."
    4.smart
5.They have to do a web page together and it counts to half their grade. Q knows that Angela is smart but he isn't as intellegent
