Contradiction:
pg 5 “The story was that the three skeletons, gleaming with phosphorescent
light, danced over the small rock, screaming”
This
quote shows a contradiction because the island the narrator is going to work
on, is haunted. Most people with common
sense wouldn’t take a job somewhere where people have died, were eaten by
birds, and now haunt the area.
aha moment: page 19"the story says that Heather tells on me all the time". molly runs away from heather because she was scared and ran away from the graveyard as far as she could. alot of people think that it is very scary living by dead people.
ReplyDeletecontradiction: page 17" the story it says that heather(7 years old) is chanting that molly(12 years old) is a little scary cat. usually the older of them is the one is not scared the most but the little stepsister isn't scared at all.
contradiction: Page 13 and 16" the story says that the little girl went a little farther than the older one when there dad told them not to go far". the older one is usually the brave one and goes farther than the other.
