Example:
Contradiction:
pg 5 “The story was that the three skeletons, gleaming with phosphorescent
light, danced over the small rock, screaming”
This
quote shows a contradiction because the island the narrator is going to work
on, is haunted. Most people with common
sense wouldn’t take a job somewhere where people have died, were eaten by
birds, and now haunt the area.
when the main character said "it was no big Deal he had one [a gun]" it was a little bit of a contradiction because based off of a foreshadow from before i knew they would be busted.
